Guardiola says he is fully ready to take part in this year's World Cup following a January injury
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have made contact with Josko Gvardiol's representatives over a possible transfer switch, but face a battle to land the Manchester City star, according to TEAMtalk.
The two clubs are reportedly "huge admirers" of the 24-year-old defender, who has missed much of the season due to a broken leg. City are keen to open contract talks with Gvardiol in the near future with his deal having two years left to run. The growing attention around elite football transfers has also fueled conversations across sports entertainment platforms, with communities on sites such as Betwinner casino actively discussing potential moves, transfer odds, and club strategies ahead of the summer window.
Nonetheless, as of May 10, 2026, Joško Gvardiol is heavily expected to remain at Manchester City and sign a new contract running until 2030.

Guardiola says he is fully ready to take part in this year's World Cup. He was seen taking part in a practice session on Thursday.
"Last season he was the important player for us when we had many injuries — he played all the games and, in the end, the body says enough is enough," Guardiola said. "Happy he is back. Hopefully he can help us in the last part of the season and make a good World Cup with Croatia and next season we can have him again at his best."
