The OVER/UNDER on this fight is 9.5 with the OVER listed at -900.  The UNDER would pay out $210 for every $100 bet, so there could be some value here

"I will punish him for a lot of time and then knock him out," Martinez promised this week. "This will be a lot of pain."

For his part, Chavez was a bit more appreciative of his opponent’s ability to prepare for big fights.

"He's very prepared," Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. said. "He's very conscious of what he needs to do to win. He's spent a lot of time on strategy, watching videos every day, and I give him advice."

Trainer Freddie Roach understands this and, as such, has had Chavez preparing in a less routine fashion and keeping him out of the Hollywood's Wild Card Boxing Club, instead opting for a less conventional camp in Las Vegas.

Whether this regimen pays off for Chavez, and ultimately those betting him, remains to be seen.
