A story in People Magazine reported that US soccer ace Landon Donovan might have been the daddy of a British woman’s baby.
Donovan responded to the report this week.
"I will not be a dad any time soon, which is good news for me," Donovan told E! Online at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
He apparently had intimate relations with this woman since he said, if it were true, "I will provide the appropriate support."
Donovan is separated from his wife actress Bianca Kajlich.
He had played in England for a few months last winter on loan for Liverpool club Everton and the baby could have been conceived “out of wedlock” at that time.
