Michigan, Sienna, Portland State, Western Kentucky NCAA Upsets?
Gambling911.com has been observing all the latest betting trends and one thing we looked at was the money line action. If the money line betting public is right, there could be some big upsets: Specifically Michigan, Sienna, Portland State and Western Kentucky.
Our personal favorite is Western Kentucky, which was getting nearly 100 percent of the money line action and 75 percent of the spread action (+6) was on Western Kentucky as well. The money line would pay just shy of $200 for every $100 bet at Sportsbook.com.
Michigan as the +6 underdog was getting even action on the spread with Clemson, but the money line was a different story where they were receiving more than 85 percent of the bets. This one would pay out $180 for every $100 bet at Sportsbook.com.
North Dakota State is not one we have talked about much here at Gambling911.com, but the betting public likes them to win outright despite that +11 ½ line. 74 percent of those betting the money line were on North Dakota and stood to win around $450 for every $100 bet.
And check out Portland State against Xavier as the +12 ½ underdog getting 84 percent of the money line action. This one would pay $475 for every $100 bet if Portland State were to win.
Sienna was another one getting more than 90 percent of the money line action.
Dayton was also getting around 80 percent of the betting action.
Gambling911.com is covering all your 2009 NCAA Tournament betting action throughout March Madness.
