There are four cities that have the chance to bring home both the NBA and NHL titles in 2024.

Here are some notes on the history of the elusive, NBA/NHL championship double-double:

- It has happened in other sports like the NFL and NHL (Tampa) and the NFL and MLB (Los Angeles)

- Closest occasions were in 2003 (Devils won, Nets lost) and 1994 (Rangers won, Knicks lost)
