Dallas Stars

This NHL betting preview for the Dallas Stars vs. Chicago Blackhawks game is being brought to you by SBG Global where the opening line was Stars - 125 ,  Total  5.5 Over - 115

The Dallas Stars will try for their third win in four games on Friday as they travel to Chicago to face the Blackhawks.  The Stars are coming off a 4-2 win on Wednesday against Minnesota in a game where they finally played a little defense. "That was a step in the right direction," Dallas head coach Dave Tippett said, "We came out and set a good tone and had some players really engaged in the game. Tobias (Stephan) gave us solid goaltending and this might have been (Brad) Richards' best game of the season. There are some things to grab onto and it was one of our better games from our defensemen. Now we have to keep building on this."

SBG Global reports that early Hockey betting has the public taking Stars on the Road.

Stephan is the backup goaltender for the Stars but he may be getting a lot of action considering veteran Marty Turco is not playing well. "That's my job, I just try to make the best of it and stay focused and be ready when called upon," Stephan said, "I feel good and it was good to get the win tonight." Friday's game against Chicago is the first game of a five game road trip for the Stars.

Last season the Stars won the season series 2-1-1 against the Blackhawks including the last meeting at the United Center between the two teams as they won 3-1.  Here are more Hockey betting stats for Friday's game.  The Stars are 2-5 in their last 7 vs. the Western Conference. Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
