NHL Finals Game 5 Odds - Lightning vs. Blackhawks
Gambling911.com has your NHL Finals Game 5 betting odds on the Lightning vs. Blackhawks.
Goaltending Edge to Chicago
If the Chicago Blackhawks end up winning this series it will be because they have the edge in goal with Corey Crawford against either Ben Bishop or Andrei Vasilevskiy. Crawford made 24 saves to backstop Chicago to a 2-1 win in Game 4. “We know it's a big game; we're impressed. But we're definitely not surprised that Crow shows up and plays the way he did,” Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews said. “We obviously need him that way this time of year -- with the guns, the ability, the offensive talent that they have -- to make the stops that he made tonight. Obviously we need him to win games like this.” On the other side, the Lightning were without Bishop who has a lower body injury so they turned to Vasilevskiy who made 17 saves.
Lightning Letting Chicago Stay in this Series
Tampa Bay has let Chicago stay in this series and they may now end up losing the series. The Blackhawks didn’t play that well in Game 4 yet they still ended up winning. Patrick Kane has done nothing in this series and overall Chicago has really not played well but thanks to Crawford and some timely goals they are even at 2-2 in the series. Steven Stamkos has done nothing for Tampa Bay and the “Triplets” line has been worthless. Stamkos has now gone six straight games without a goal.
