North Carolina vs. Duke betting odds were available as of Sunday morning at Sportsbook.com and this was expected to be a heavily bet on game as Gambling911.com prepare for the huge March Madness wagering season in just a few more days.

North Carolina dominated Duke in front of the Cameron Crazies last month but the return matchup may favor the underdog.

As the seventh-ranked Duke Blue Devils head to Chapel Hill to face the second-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels on Sunday, bettors may want to take a look at the Blue Devils.

Sure, North Carolina spanked Duke 101-87 on the Blue Devils home court last month in their fourth-consecutive win and cover at Cameron Indoor Stadium. But the road has also been kind to Duke in college basketball's biggest rivalry.

The Blue Devils have won two of their last three visits to Chapel Hill, including an 89-78 victory over the Tar Heels as 4 ½-point underdogs last season.

Sunday's contest will decide the ACC regular season championship as North Carolina (26-3, 12-3 ACC) will win it outright with a victory or share it with the hated Dukies (25-5, 11-4 ACC) with a loss.

If you want to know just how crazy the games between the teams can get, just look back to the meeting on February 11th.

Duke came in as two-point favorites at home and took it to the Heels for a 52-44 halftime lead. That's when North Carolina absolutely exploded in the second half behind point guard Ty Lawson, outscoring them by 22 points for the 101-87 win.

Duke was able to win at UNC last year by shooting 13-29 (45%) from three-point land as opposed to just 3-17 for the Heels. The problem this year is that Duke's long range shooting is way down at 33.7% and UNC still has a mismatch down low.

Can Duke shock the Heels again at home? Will they fall to defeat but still make backers happy with a cover?
