While none of the online sportsbooks had odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship posted just prior to or during the Selection Sunday show, these same oddsmakers had already lined up the teams they anticipated making the tournament.  As the odds come in, Gambling911.com would be posting the best odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship numbers out there, keeping in mind that not all the online sportsbooks will be featuring the same future odds.  Some will offer odds that will pay out thousands of dollars more than their competitors.

Here were your best payout odds to win the 2009 NCAA Tournament.  Check back to Gambling911.com regularly for updates as they get posted:

SBG Global had the best odds on Memphis +1500 (compared to +500 at some books)

Pittsburgh Bookmaker.com pays $650 for every $100 bet (most books pay $450)

North Carolina - - betED.com pays $400 for every $100 bet

Oddsmakers were expected to post odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship immediately following the Selection Sunday program.  As the best numbers (payout odds) come in, Gambling911.com will be posting them here.  Remember, these are the future odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship - not the individual game odds.  It should also be noted that these are teams anticipated to make the tournament early on, though not all will and those that are not named will appear among the ‘field' options.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
