Quicken Loans 400 Handicapping
There have been 10 different drivers win in the first 14 races this season. Last year at Michigan it was all Hendrick as Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon got wins. When it comes to the 1.5 mile tracks this season it has been mostly Harvick and Johnson. Harvick has a win and five second place finishes. Harvick has four runner-up finishes in the last four races at Michigan and he won the race in 2010. "The recently repaved track at MIS is ageing nicely," said Harvick, "The groove has definitely spread out and it has become a little more racy. We should be running incredible speeds again in qualifying there. We should be able to draft well, too. Michigan is a super fast track. Now, we just have to win there again."
Other drivers who have done well at Michigan recently are Edwards, Kenseth and Biffle. Not to be left out are the Penske drivers as Brad Keselowski is from Michigan and badly wants to win this race while Joey Logano won this race in 2013.
NASCAR Xfinity Great Clips 250
Race Notes
The race at Michigan International Speedway is the 15th of the season. There have been 91 races in the top series in NASCAR at Michigan with two races each season since 1969. Greg Biffle has the most wins at the track among active drivers with four. The pole sitter has won this race 18 times.
Busch Making his Xfinity Return
Kyle Busch will be back in action in the Xfinity Series this weekend at Michigan. It will be just his second start in the series and his first since coming back from injury. It is only the second race together for Busch and crew chief Chris Gayle. "My goal in February was and still now is that you have to get to the point where not only do I understand what Kyle is asking for," Gayle said, "but I also show Kyle what I can give him. Then the trust develops and continues to build. ... We are obviously grateful and excited that we have that chance again."
Honda Indy Toronto Odds and Betting Picks
IndyCar – Honda Indy Toronto Prediction
The IndyCar circuit takes its talent north of the border to Toronto for the tenth race of the season, which means the action is starting to heat up as there are just six races left in the campaign. It is also the first time in three years that Toronto won't have two races, so there is just one for drivers to concentrate on, and Scott Dixon won both in 2013. He was also fifth last year and is coming off a huge win at Texas (which is an oval while Toronto is a road race, but Dixon is well rounded). Scott Dixon is the play here in Toronto.
