These payout odds were $100 better than other online sportsbooks, most of which had the Sooners odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship at +1500.

Sports Interaction was offering the best or comparable NCAA Tournament odds to win the 2009 Championship for the following teams:  Arizona, Duke, UConn, Kansas, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Villanova and Xavier.

The Sooners advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2003.

Michigan bumped Blake Griffin around, knocked him to the floor, even bloodied his nose. There were no wrestling takedowns, but the Wolverines still gave it to him pretty good.

Nothing worked.

Oklahoma's bulldozer of a power forward took the hits and kept rolling, finishing with 33 points and 17 rebounds in a 73-63 victory over Michigan on Saturday night to send the Sooners back into the NCAA's round of 16 for the first time in six years.

"He's a fantastic player on a fantastic team," Michigan coach John Beilien said.

This year, the second seeded OU have already defeated Morgan St. (82-54) and Michigan (73-63). Under the leadership of head coach Jeff Capel OU's program has been completely turned around after a few ruckus years and the controversial departure of Kelvin Sampson.

"I'm proud to be a part of the team that kind of hopefully changed the program around and kind of got it rolling again," standout center Blake Griffin said. "It's something we'll all be proud of as a team."
