It's a big weekend ahead in the world of sports betting and the online sportsbook BetUS.com hopes to capitalize.

The NBA Conference Finals continue:  With the Lakers and Celtics both up 2-0 in their respective series, gamblers have all but given up hope on the two underdogs, Phoenix and Orlando.  Both favorites are being backed by around 80 percent of those betting on this game.  Nevertheless, the online sportsbook is keeping both lines relatively short.

The Boston Celtics are only -3 ½ favorites at home.  The Los Angeles Lakers are +2 ½ underdogs on the road in Phoenix

The other big event the online sportsbooks are focused on this weekend is the Championship League Final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.  Bayern was the -145.  Inter was the +125 underdog

In hockey, the NHL Stanley Cup Conference Championships are taking place and the Canadiens are looking to draw even with a line of -140.

"Credit the Montreal Canadiens who made the necessary adjustments to defeat the much bigger and uber-confident Flyers," writes Tommy Bond of the BetUS.com online sportsbook.  "They dominated the first period for the third straight game but this time were able to capitalize on their chances. For the Canadiens, patience paid off and their hard work was finally rewarded in Game 3. The Habs have been behind in a series before and panic does not appear to be an emotion that the Habs feel."
