Victiv.com has decided to get into the Golf fray with its PGA Fantasy freeroll on the Farmer’s Insurance Open while betting on Golf has begun to prove lucrative for the online sportsbooks.
Case in point on the later, Sportsbook.ag had among its top five bets of Wednesday on whether Tiger Woods would make the cut at this week’s Open.

600 sports bettors multiplied by the average $20 bet would amount to a cool $12000 in handle for a bookmaker. It’s fair to say that Sportsbook has a few times more than that number of customers betting golf, so do the math and it is easy to see how golf betting and Fantasy contests can help fill in voids after the football season.
