The Pittsburgh Panthers odds to win the 2009 Championship were listed at +600 for a payout potential of $600 with every $100 bet at Sportsinteraction.com.  Receive a FREE $50 bet with Sportsinteraction.com

These payout odds were $50 better than other online sportsbooks, most of which had the Panthers odds to win the 2009 NCAA Championship at +550.  With every $100 bet, the potential payout difference found at Sports Interaction really begins to add up.  A $1000 bet, for instance, pays $6000 compared to $5500 elsewhere.  And the Panthers have as good a chance of winning the Championship as any other team.  After all, they are one of the four number one seeds still heading into the Sweet 16.

Sports Interaction was offering the best or comparable NCAA Tournament odds to win the 2009 Championship for the following teams:  Arizona, Duke, UConn, Kansas, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Purdue, Villanova and Xavier.

Pittsburgh incidentally will be playing a team (Xavier) with the longest odds to win the 2009 NCAA Tournament Championship after Arizona (Xavier pays $6600 for every $100 bet at Sportsinteraction.com).   Oddsmakers are assuming it's almost a "given" that the Panthers will make the final eight.

Pittsburgh still ranked as the 7th most bet on of the Sweet 16 teams early on in the week.

Behind a 32-point effort from Sam Young, Pitt escaped Oklahoma State's upset bid, advancing to the Sweet 16 for the second time in the last three seasons.

Young scored 32 points -- one shy of his career-high -- and colossal center DeJuan Blair added another double-double as top-seeded Pittsburgh advanced to the round of 16 for the fifth time in eight years with an 84-76 win over Oklahoma State on Sunday in the East Regional.

"It's a tough bracket we're in," said Blair, who finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds, some of them with three defenders hanging on him. "We're just fighting through it."

Be sure to shop around for the best NCAA Tournament odds to win the 2009 Championship in addition to 2009 Sweet 16 Betting Odds as Gambling911.com has found payout variances over $4000 across the board on some teams.  Just as most of you are shopping for the best values in today's economy, so too should you be doing the same when it comes to finding the best NCAA Tournament Championship odds.  Once again,Sportsinteraction.com was offering payout odds on the Pittsburgh Panthers that were $50 better than that of most competitors.
