It has been a good week for AC Milan star Ronaldinho.  He scored an injury-time goal to give AC Milan a 1-0 win Thursday over Sporting Braga in the  Soccer Betting UEFA Cup.  He also scored the only goal on Sunday against Napoli that propelled Milan to the top of the Serie A standings.

The goal in the UEFA Cup from Ronaldinho kept the team unbeaten. "I'm working very hard and it is paying off," said Ronaldinho. "We knew they were a team that is playing really well in the Cup so we knew this wasn't going to be easy." Milan now has six points in their two games of group play in the UEFA Cup.  Braga still has three points while Wolfsburg has three after winning 5-1 against Heerenveen.  The win for Milan was nice considering they rested a number of players including Kaka and defender Gianluca Zambrotta. Coach Carlo Ancelotti would like to win the title in Serie A but also would like to win the Soccer Betting UEFA Cup.

In other UEFA Cup results on Thursday, Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa all got victories. Tottenham routed Dinamo Zagreb 4-0, City beat FC Twente 3-2 and Villa won 1-0 win at Slavia Prague. There were a number of matches on Thursday including a surprise as Sevilla lost 1-0 at Standard Liege.

Tottenham is now unbeaten in all competitions in their last four games. Darren Bent scored a hat trick on Thursday.  He scored twice in the first half and once in the second.  Tom Huddlestone added the other goal.  Tottenham remains three points behind Group D leader Udinese who won 2-1 at Spartak Moscow. Fabio Quagliarella scored a goal in each half for Udinese.

Benjani Mwaruwari scored in his return as Manchester City won 3-2 over FC Twente. City is in Group A and is one point back of Schalke who played to a 1-1 draw at Racing Santander.

Aston Villa won 1-0 over Slavia Prague as John Carew scored. Villa head man Martin O'Neill made a number of changes as the team was playing their second of three games in seven days.  Villa now has six points in two games to lead Group F.
