When it comes to sports betting’s top bets for Saturday June 23, 2012, Spain was getting the most public action for its Euro 2012 match against France.  Overall, just shy of 60 percent wagering on this game were backing the Spaniards.  Qualified customer will now receive up to US$350 when signing up to join Sportsbook here today

The bookies are no doubt hoping that historical trends hold up and France advances.  Spain have won just one of their nine previous European Championship or World Cup quarter-finals outright.  Spain have never won a competitive game against France (L5 D1).

Elsewhere, the Tampa Bay Rays had been getting 87 percent of the betting action against Philadelphia as a -135 favorite.  Sportsbook.ag offers the preferred dime line for Major League Baseball betting.  This game was going off at 4:05 pm EST.  Tampa Bay vs. Philadelphia was not a heavily wagered MLB game overall however.

The St. Louis Cardinals were getting solid betting action as a -129 favorite against Kansas City for their 2 pm EST game.  This was the most bet on side in Saturday afternoon’s baseball slate.

The New York Yankees at -150 were the most wagered on team of the day outside of Spain in the Euro 2012.  In fact, New York was getting about 95 percent of the backing.
