The St. Louis Rams 2008 odds have been set at +600 for this team to win the weak NFC West. Their odds to win the 2009 Super Bowl are very long at +4500 for a $4500 win potential with every $100 bet at SBG Global.

These same odds makers seem to believe the Rams can win at least 7 games, making them the OVER 6 ½ 2008 regular season wins a favorite. In this division where all it takes is a few injuries to hurt Seattle's chances, a team that is even remotely promising a .500 season might be worth a bet all the way up to a division win.

Oddsmakers and pundits alike are in love with the Arizona Cardinals once again - but isn't that every season???

James Alder of About.com Football:

Injuries simply decimated the Rams last season and their 3-13 record reflected their health. Their offensive line was banged up all year and they lost two quarterbacks as a result. Not all of their woes, however, can be blamed on injury alone. While I expect them to bounce back somewhat from their pitiful three-win performance last year, I wouldn't expect them to suddenly jump back among the elite teams in the NFC either. They could challenge for the playoffs, however, in what looks like a fairly weak division.

Athlon Sports makes a good point:

Coach Scott Linehan is 11-21 after two seasons. But the die-hard optimist might consider this: Dick Vermeil was 9-23 in his initial two seasons as Rams coach, before winning a Super Bowl in his third season.

Here are your 2008 NFC West Divisional Odds

Cardinals +300

49ers +600

Seahawks -145

Rams +600
