When it comes to Super Bowl 43 betting, the first place to begin is with the trends.

Gambling911.com has highlighted some of the most important trends to consider.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 playoff games and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.  This is important as it tells us the Steelers entered the post season as a very hot team.

There are quite a few stats you'll see where the Steelers (and the Cardinals for that matter) are 4-1 or 5-1 in this and that but these stats really don't mean much as they don't incorporate a wide enough range of games.

10-3 is a pretty good stat though.  This is the ATS record for the Steelers in their last 13 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

It's interesting that there aren't a whole lot of stats really favoring Arizona to win Against The Spread.

It's a different story when we consider the Total for Arizona.  Everything points to the OVER, which in this case is 46 ½.   Arizona has gone OVER in 20 of their last 26 games.  The OVER is 38-13 in the Cardinals last 51 games as an underdog.  They have gone OVER 35-16 in their last 51 games overall.

But more importantly perhaps is the OVER in the first half (23 ½) where the Cardinals are 11-1 during the last three seasons.  That's an impressive stat even playing against the defensive minded Pittsburgh Steelers.

The OVER is also favored for Pittsburgh, with a record of 7-1 in their last 8 playoff games and 12-2 in their last 14 playoff games.
