Auburn is a -6 to -7 favorite vs. Tennessee this coming Saturday. The game is getting the most betting action for the weekend slate early on. Nearly all the action was on Auburn in this incredibly lopsided betting matchup. Gambling911.com believes the line on this one should be set at Auburn -10.

Auburn has won the last two meetings in 2004 with the Vols by 10 or more points. In their 10 point home game against Tennessee, the Tigers were a -14 ½ favorite.

One area where the Vols did not need too many corrections in Saturday's loss to Florida Saturday was on defense, according to the Chattanoogan. Tennessee allowed the Gators just 243 yards of total offense Saturday, Florida's lowest total offensive output vs. the Vols since 1990. The discrepancy between the stat sheet and the scoreboard was due to turnovers and special teams miscues. But a few small successes on defense are not enough to sway the spirits of the Vols heading into another big SEC game.

"I don't think anybody is going to be upbeat right now," Fulmer said. "It's a tough loss. We had a fighting chance if we had played well, but we did not play well in certain phases consistently enough.

"When we get to Tuesday, I expect to see a team that's ready to go to work to improve. I want to see a bunch of guys around here tomorrow watching tape of Auburn and getting themselves ready."

The Volunteers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game and are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a double-digit loss at home.

The Tigers on the other hand are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss. They are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference games and 0-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. Because of this we can't jump on the Auburn bandwagon.

But with what we see as a rather large underlay of more than 3 points in the set line, we can't exactly go with Tennessee either, so this game will be a "pass" for the Gambling911.com crew.
