Weidman comes into this fight unbeaten at 11-0 and the current UFC middleweight champion. Weidman is well aware that he has to keep winning in order to keep the things he has. Machida comes into this bout at 21-4 and 13-4 in the UFC. He is a former light heavyweight champion who made his debut at middleweight less than a year ago. Machida is trying to become only the third fighter in UFC history to win title belts in two different weight classes. "I don't think about that too much," Machida said, "I don't think about the result. I think about what I have to do. Focus on the objective and go out there and win that title."
