UFC 200: Lesnar vs Hunt
A huge weekend for the UFC in Las Vegas culminates with UFC 200. While the card has been changed around a number of times with the Conor McGregor situation (he didn’t want to show up to do promo) and then the Jon Jones suspension (performance-enhancing drugs), we’re still in line for a fantastic event.
The main event features former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who takes a break from the WWE for a bout with Mark Hunt, and also on the main card is an interim featherweight title bout between former champions Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar. Women's bantamweight champion Miesha Tate will also defend her belt against Amanda Nunes.
This card was supposed to feature a rematch between featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz at welterweight, but it was scrapped due to contract issues.
Main Card
Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt – Heavyweight
Lesnar (5-3) has not competed in MMA since December 2011, when he lost on a body kick to Alistair Overeem. He has had health issues since and seems to be healthy now, but the former heavyweight champion might be only here for a paycheque.
Hunt (12-10, 1 NC) knocked out Frank Mir in March in what many thought was his last fight, and he certainly has the power to KO Lesnar, but he has to stay out of Lesnar's wrestling crosshairs.
