Hunt has not fought since November of last year so he has had plenty of time to get ready for this fight saying, “My preparation this time has been much better and I feel a lot better going into the fight.”

Miocic has said that he is not worried about Hunt going for a knockout and that he can handle any style of fight. “I know he hits hard, [I'm going to] just keep my distance, you know do my thing” Miocic said, “Whatever I work on I'm going to do in the fight and then I'm going to win the fight. I don't care what's going to happen. I'm going to win that fight.”
