Barnett (33-7) is no stranger to Japan, having competed in Pancrase and Pride after being stripped of the UFC title due to a positive drug test. He has not fought since losing to Travis Browne in December 2013, which is good for Nelson (20-11), who has lost four of his last five. Nelson usually has the edge on the mat, but Barnett is a second-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is probably a quicker striker than Nelson, who still has the overhand right in his arsenal.

Gegard Mousasi vs Roan Carneiro – Middleweight
Mousasi (37-5-2) is 3-2 since returning to middleweight from light heavyweight and he is also known in Japan as he was a Dream champion at 185 and 205 pounds, while he also won Grand Prixs in both weight classes. Carneiro (20-9) beat Mark Munoz February in his return to the UFC, and he is also coming back to middleweight after going down to welterweight. Carneiro is a submission specialist, while Mousasi fights mostly with his striking, but he can go to the mat as well.

Kiichi Kunimoto vs Li Jingliang – Welterweight
Kunimoto (18-6-2, 1 NC) is now 3-1 in the UFC after getting submitted by Neil Magny in February, while Jingliang (10-3) is 2-1 and has a relatively quick turnaround after a KO win over Dhiego Lima in May. Both are brown belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and are not particularly dangerous with their striking, so this looks like it will go the distance, but Kunimoto gets the edge due to experience and is the home-country favorite.

Hobar (9-3) has lost two of his last three, all in the UFC, and this is as good a chance as any to get back on track. Yamamoto took three years off to come back to a no-contest, and he simply might be past his prime.
