Favored at most of the European books, Brooks Koepka was coming in at 6/4 odds to win ahead of Round One of the 2019 PGA Championship.

He went 7-under 63 that broke the course record at Bethpage Black and, in doing so, became the first player to shoot 63 twice in the same major.

Heading into Friday's play, Dustin Johnson had the second shortest odds at 3/1, Tommy Fleetwood 11/1, Rickie Fowler 20/1, Patrick Cantlay 20/1, Justin Rose 33/1, Jordan Spieth 33/1 and Tiger Woods at 50/1 odds.

Betting was said to be brisk on this year's PGA Championship, thanks in no small part to Woods, whose comeback win at the Masters last month became the biggest futures loss in any sport at most bookmakers ever.
