The public was betting heavily on the USC Trojans, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Minnesota Vikings heading into Friday.  These were the most bet on teams at Bookmaker.com following the big Titans vs. Steelers Thursday night showdown.

"USC has been the most wagered on team thus far over the last few days," stated Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

The Trojans face Ohio State later on Saturday.  They were getting an incredible 90 percent of the betting action on the -7 point spread found at Bookmaker.com and everywhere else for that matter.

Notre Dame was getting 85 percent of the action in its game against Michigan.

The Brett Favre led Minnesota Vikings were getting over 95 percent of the betting action at some online shops with a line of -3 ½ on the road.

Word to the wise, the betting public got hammered this past weekend with nearly every heavily bet on "public" favorite getting creamed on the spread.  Thursday carried on with that tradition as the online sportsbooks won big again with a Tennessee Titans cover.
