The map below courtesy of BetOnline.ag is based on geotagged X data in the past month leading up to WrestleMania 41, tracking tweets, hashtags and direct keyword phrases about who is the WWE GOAT.  BetOnline is one of the few online sportsbooks offering odds on WWE events.

For example, "The Undertaker is the GOAT," "Steve Austin is the GOAT," "Stone Cold is the GOAT," "The Rock is the GOAT," "John Cena is the GOAT," etc. were tracked, as well as tweets mentioning a wrestler's name that also includes the hashtag #GOAT. Over 80,000 tweets were analyzed.

As you can see from the map, there are a couple interesting things to note.

1. John Cena has made considerable headway in the "goat" conversation, especially in the northeast (he is from Massachusetts). But this could be due to "recency bias" in that Cena is on his farewell tour and this will be his final WrestleMania.

2. There seems to be a clear regional component at play in general.

3. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and Hulk Hogan won very few states.

4. Wrestlers like Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels... often in the goat conversation...shockingly did not win any states.

Here's the state breakdown:

Steve Austin - 17 states              (AL, AZ, AR, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MT, NV NM, OK, SC, TN, TX, WV)
John Cena - 16 states                 (CT, DE, ME, ND, MA, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, UT, VT, VA, WA)
The Undertaker - 12 states         (AK, GA, IL, IA, MI, MN, NE, NC, ND, SD, WI, WY)
The Rock - 3 states                      (CA, CO, HI)
Hulk Hogan - 2 states                  (FL, ID)
