The South Carolina moneyline is really the only liability in Sunday's NCAAW Championship, this according to our friends at BetOnline.

"That said, there's a decent amount of sharp money on the Iowa ML," they report.

Here's was t current action coming into Sunday's NCAA women's championship game:

Iowa vs South Carolina (-7, 159.5)

51.3% of $ on Iowa  +7

83.2% of $ on South Carolina -305

61.1% of $ on UNDER

In any other game, lopsided moneyline action might not matter much.  This isn't just any other game however.

Friday's night's Iowa vs. UConn game had 14.2 million eyes and pretty much everybody believes the Sunday championship will surpass that number....likely by quite a bit.

By comparison, the viewership was greater than:

  • Every World Series game last year.
  • Every NBA Finals game last year.
  • Every Daytona 500 since 2013.
  • Every Masters final round viewership since 2013.
  • All but five CFB games in 2023.

This is a rematch between the two teams and, considering last year's game peaked at 17 million, one has to be thinking 20 million plus for Sunday's game.

"I think this matchup, you can't ask for anything better," Iowa star Caitlin Clark said.

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley added: "It's a monumental game for our game. We're very fortunate to be a part of it."
