Phoenix Suns vs. New Orleans Pelicans Betting Preview

The Suns have mostly been holding as a -1 road favorite in New Orleans as of Monday morning.  A few bookie sites had New Orleans at -1 overnight but there was very little in the way of any line movement.  This could change as the day progresses.  We actually get a number of New Orleans 4.51, suggesting a 5 or greater point underlay. Brandon Ingram’s Injury Status for the Pelicans is likely playing a role in the discrepancy.  Indeed sportsbooks do not have prop bets released for Ingram as of Monday morning.

Sagarin on Monday had the Suns knocking on the door of the top ten teams in the league with their 43-31 record Straight Up.  They have been winning 60 percent of their games of late and covering the spread in half of these.

New Orleans continues to sit among the top 10.  They too have won six of their last ten games outright while covering in half.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
