Texans ROY Frontrunners Betting Odds
The Texans going 'under' their projected victory total (6.5) were the second-most popular bet for that wager category going into the season.
The season is still young and there is a long way to go, but the folks who bet the 'over' are feeling as confident as Houston's young quarterback.
SportsBetting.ag moved CJ Stroud into the favorite position for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year last night. Through four games, Stroud is has completed 62.3% of his passes, including six touchdowns, and he hasn't thrown an interception all season.
The guy who Houston selected right after Stroud in the 2022 NFL Draft, Will Anderson Jr., is also making an impact for the 2-2 Texans. But with just one sack and Jalen Carter seemingly running away with Defensive ROY, Anderson has the second-best odds in that category.
In other awards odds changes, Josh Allen slid in front of Patrick Mahomes for league MVP. And Comeback Player of the Year is back on the board after Damar Hamlin returned for the first time since his horrific cardiac arrest on the field last season.
Hamlin only played on special teams this past week (18 snaps) after being a healthy scratch in the Bills' first three games. Regardless, he's the only odds-on awards favorite at this point.
