Instead we find that Kansas coach Bill Self was unsure whether star guard Kevin McCullar will suit up vs. the Longhorns.
McCullar leads the Big 12 in scoring with a 19.0 point-per-game average but has been dealing with a bone bruise in his knee since last month and has missed three games as a result.
“No, I do not [know if he’ll be available on Saturday],” Self told the media on Friday. “He hasn’t done anything yet this week. So we’ll probably wait and see if he’s able to do anything today. Today will probably determine if he plays on Saturday as much as anything. But I probably won’t tell you guys that.”
The oddsmakers have McCullar player props up with a scoring total set at 17.5 Over/Under.
Kansas is perfect at home but can they cover the -7.5 spread?
