I am all for athlete/celebrity wrestling matches in the WWE, but the Tom Brady vs Logan Paul definitely feels more forced and artificial than any I can remember.
We’ve seen some truly amazing crossover moments in the past: Floyd Mayweather Jr. was tremendous, Mr. T at the first two WrestleManias was iconic, Johnny Knoxville’s match against Sami Zayn was hilarious and Mike Tyson injected himself in the Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels feud.
Even Snooki and Maria Menounas exceeded expectations in the ring.
Logan Paul, who started out as an influencer doing a one-off WWE match, instantly proved to be a natural. He is a flat-out stud and an incredible athlete, executing maneuvers that ten-year veterans wouldn't dream of attempting. Paul became an instant heel, drawing so much authentic heat that WWE kept bringing him back. Now, he’s a full-time superstar—though he’s currently sidelined with a torn triceps
WWE excels at playing the long game, and they smartly planted the seeds for this Brady/Paul feud back in March during a Fanatics flag football game. The tension escalated significantly at Fanatics Fest 2026, where Brady seemingly struck Paul near the stage. Adding fuel to the fire, video quickly surfaced of the two exchanging middle fingers at the World Cup Final. An official wrestling match seems inevitable now.
Honestly, I give Brady credit for staying adventurous in retirement. Between getting roasted on Netflix, launching his high-end memorabilia business, CardVault, and now testing the waters of professional wrestling, he's keeping busy. Who knows? Maybe he was just a big wrestling fan as a kid.
And now, the oddsmakers at BetOnline Sports and Casino have set odds on this match.
Singles Wrestling Match
Logan Paul +550
Tom Brady -1000
Note: Current odds imply a 90.9% probability of Brady winning a match with Paul.
