Before we get into the UConn profitability bit, wanted to let you know that we’ve already seen some movement in our 2025 March Madness futures following last night’s game. Here are the notable shifts:

    UConn 15/1 to 12/1
    North Carolina 12/1 to 14/1
    Alabama 14/1 to 18/1

Ok, in case you missed it, UConn just won back-to-back titles…and the Huskies made it look REALLY easy.

Here’s just a sampling of their dominance, by the numbers:

UConn went 12-0 SU and ATS during last two tournaments

UConn won by an average of 21.7 ppg during last two tournaments

UConn covered by an average of 13.3 ppg during last two tournaments

In the 2023 NCAA Tournament, UConn won by an average of 20 ppg

In the 2023 NCAA Tournament, UConn covered by an average of 16.2 ppg

In the 2024 NCAA Tournament, UConn won by an average of 23.3 ppg

In the 2024 NCAA Tournament, UConn covered by an average of 10.4 ppg

In the 2024 NCAA Tournament, UConn trailed for less than seven minutes

And someone could’ve made nearly a quarter of a million just by backing them every game throughout the past two NCAA Tournaments. If you placed a $100 wager on UConn to cover the spread in its first March Madness game in 2023, and then rolled over the winnings for them to cover in every game through their second title, you’d now have over $230,000 in your pocket.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
