Payne had a very productive sophomore season and really came on late. He finished with 110 carries for 623 yards (5.7 yards per carry) and five rushing TDs, plus 22 catches for 207 yards and two receiving touchdowns. That's 830 yards from scrimmage and seven scores in 11 games.
