The USF Bulls have been on fire of late heading into Monday’s Miami Beach Bowl and that’s given bookies in South Florida fits.

Bookies have been stung by the Bulls seven of the last eight games and are hopeful South Florida does not extend this trend to eight of nine when they take on Western Kentucky Monday night.

It’s not just USF that’s hurting local bookies in the South Florida region.  The Miami Hurricanes have managed to cover in four of their last five games while the Canes Basketball team has gone 7-2 Against The Spread.

Utlization of offshore Pay Per Heads that now offer live betting and online casinos as loss leaders have become critical to staying in business for many stateside bookies.

While the Heat have provided bookies with a breakeven record for the most part, the Dolphins at least have managed to buck this South Florida betting trend with seven of eight failed covers as the season winds down.
