The American Rossi currently races in the IndyCar Series for Andretti Autosport. He won the 2016 Indianapolis 500 as a rookie.
Katie Osborne of Indianapolis Motor Speedway spoke with Rossi immediately after he qualified for the 102nd Running of the Indianapolis 500. He finished the day on the last row with 32nd place with a 4-lap average of 224.935 mph.
"It was the most miserable four laps I've ever had around here," Rossi confessed.
