Belmont Stakes 2017 Clocker Report From DRF

The Daily Racing Forum offered its Saturday afternoon Belmont Stakes Clocker Report, a look at how the horses appeared during the AM hours and how this might translate during the actual race.  Live odds online were available here

Expert clocker Mike Welsh admits that “nobody has really stood out” in terms of this year’s Belmont Stakes entries.

“A lot of them did their training outside of town and came in the last several days including Irish War Cry, the favorite,” he relayed.

“But I have seen Twisted Tom, he worked twice against Economic Mile….and he held his own.”
