Damian Lillard only knows one team in his 11-year playing career: The Portland Trailblazers. This week, it was revealed that Lillard has requested a trade.  While the Philadelphia 76ers and LA Clippers are in the mix of those teams pursuing Lillard, he reportedly would prefer playing with the Heat.  Miami's payout odds opened at 2-1 and were now 1-10, which is equivalent to a 17-point favorite in football (think Chiefs vs. Texans in KC).

“We have been clear that we want Dame here but he notified us today he wants out and he’d prefer to play someplace else,” Portland general manager Joe Cronin said in team statement Saturday. “What has not changed for us is that we’re committed to winning, and we are going to do what’s best for the team in pursuit of that goal.”

Lillard is still under contract for the next three seasons with a $63 million player option in 2026-27.

He is making $45.6 million during the 2023-24 season, therefore only a handful of teams have the ability to target Lillard.
