What Are the Regular Season Wins Total Odds for the Boston College Eagles - 2022?

The Boston College Eagles are favored to win UNDER 6 regular season games in 2021.

The Eagles finished last season 6-6 both Straight Up and Against The Spread despite returning 18 starters on offense and defense and getting to play a relatively soft schedule.  So what happened?

BC's best quarterback prospect since Matt Ryan, Phil Jurkovec, suffered a season-threatening fracture to his throwing hand in Week 2 at UMass.

Jurkovec made a surprise return for the final four games of the season, helping the Eagles clinch bowl eligibility.

The good news is he's back.  So, too, is star wide receiver Zay Flower.

Boston College hasn't had an eight-plus-win season since 2009, but a healthy Jurkovec could deliver the OVER 6.

They do lose all but two of their starters on the offensive line. They still have plenty of big guys though, head coach Jeff Haffley observed during the team's ACC Kickoff Press Conference.

"We got a bunch of guys competing for jobs that have a chip on her shoulder, have learned from some really good players like Zion Johnson and those guys," he said.  "I think they're going to play with an edge. Are they going to have some growing pains? Yeah, they probably will."
