What Are the Regular Season Wins Total Odds for the Buffalo Bulls - 2022?

The Buffalo Bulls are favored to win 5 or fewer regular season games in 2022.

Just two full seasons ago, Buffalo managed to win 7 regular season games and finished in the black for sports bettors.

Last year was a different story as the Bulls ended 2021 with a 4-win, 3-covers season.

Head coach Lance Leipold left for Kansas prior to last year, with Maurice Linguist taking over.

Now he'll need to deal with seven offensive starter departures.

There is some good news in that the defense should be much stronger in 2022 and James Patterson is quite possibly the best player in the MAC.

“I certainly feel a lot of confidence and real humility in them believing and everyone believing and trusting we’re going to do what we set out to accomplish and we’re going to attack the mission and accomplish the mission that we set out to accomplish,” Linguist said. “We don’t take those things for granted whatsoever. We’re very humbled by them and thankful for them, but we’re laser-focused on the job we have in front of us and what we have to get done.”

There is a floor of four wins assuming the Bulls beat the teams they are supposed to. Getting to six victories will require an upset or two.

5 is the magic number and, with the total set at 5.5, the UNDER is the more likely outcome.
