The Liberty Flames were favored to win OVER 7 regular season games at -140, according to BetOnline.

Likely losses will be at Oklahoma State, vs. BYU, and at Arkansas.  That leaves us with 10 more games.

Akron, at UMass, Gardner-Webb, at UConn, New Mexico State should be locks to win.

The concerns will be at Southern Miss, UAB, at Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech.

Based on last year's power ratings, Liberty should be favored at home agianst UAB, but Wake Forest will have to be thrown into the loss column.  The good news is that Liberty should be favored over Southern Miss on the road in Week 1 and Virginia Tech is a toss up.

This still doesn't get us past 7, and that's a problem.

Last year was an eight-win season for the Flames and the transfer pool has quickly filled in any voids left behind from departures.

The Flames are likely to be a better team than in 2021 behind QB Malik Willis and tacklers like Storey Jackson and Rashaad Harding at linebacker.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
