Ducks Outlook for 2024

Bow Nix opted to return to Oregon for one more year. He made 72% of his passes for 3,593 yards and 29 touchdowns to go along with 510 rushing yards and 14 scores. And the receiving parts are in place to allow for even more improvements.

Using last year's numbers, Oregon would be a -1 to -2 favorite at Texas Tech. 14 starters return to a Red Raiders team that went 8-5 last season but is slightly favored to win UNDER 7.5 regular season games in 2023. On paper at least, Oregon should win this game. But this will likely not be a walk in the park.
The Ducks were expected to be a +3 point dog in Washington and a -3 point favorite hosting USC. They will likely be as much as a +6 point dog in Utah. The Utes are favored to win UNDER 8.5 regular season games at -140. Eight wins is the floor and 10 or even 11 wins would likely be the ceiling, according to Athlon Sports.
