You can bet on this year's Kentucky Derby from Arkansas online with any number of websites including BetOnline, which offers 9 percent daily rebates.

Prior to March 5, 2022, one would have to travel to the track or a casino to place their Kentucky Derby bets from the state, unless you were betting with an offshore sportsbook.  Regulated websites like TwinSpires were available but did not permit bets on other sports.

Currently Betly is the only sportsbook available for betting with an app, but you cannot wager on this year's Derby here.  The FanDuel horse racing app is also unavailable from Arkansas.

Betting on Betly your winnings will be reported and you'll have to surrender 24% to the federal government. In addition, Arkansas levies a 3% state tax on all gambling income.  Both TwinSpires and Betly requires you to provide your social security number.

BetOnline does not report your winnings (that's on you obviously).  They offer their browser-based website complete with all sports wagering options, horse bets and a live dealer online casino, all from a single aaccount.

The prop bets being offered on this year's Derby are enormous as well.
