Will Any Player Record an Octopus Super Bowl Prop Bet?
An Octopus is a relatively new concept in the NFL and, yes, there is a Super Bowl prop bet for recording one.
So what is an Octopus?
The Octopus occurs when a player scores a touchdown and two-point conversion consecutively. The two-point conversion was first added back in 1994. Prior to the beginning of the 2022 season, the octopus had occurred 169 times in history.
And the only Octopus to happen in the Super Bowl was last year (2023) when Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ran for a touchdown and then managed to score the two-point conversion against the Chiefs.
The payout is nice at $700 on a $100 bet.
