Yoshinobu Yamamoto Next Team Odds

Yoshinobu Yamamoto's sensational season (and career) in the NPB league has MLB teams salivating.

Yamamoto put together a 1.16 ERA, a 0.86 WHIP and a 176-28 strikes-walks ratio in 171.0 innings pitched this past season for the Orix Buffaloes. During his seven-year Nippon Professional Baseball career, the 5-foot-10 righty boasts an impressive 1.94 ERA.

Now, it appears Yamamoto will go on the auction block in December, triggering what is expected to be a bidding war with possibly half of the 30 MLB clubs involved.

SportsBetting.ag has set odds for each of the teams' chances of landing Yamamoto. The usual suspects have the lowest odds, but there are some surprise mid-tier teams as well.
