Any decision would likely be made some time Tuesday.

The plan now is to possibly move the NLCS Game 5 between the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals to Wednesday night, sources told ESPN.

Bettors will want to hold off placing a wager until such a schedule change is confirmed as pitching plans for both teams are likely to be altered. The Astros could bring back Zack Greinke for Game 4 on regular rest, and the Yankees -- who are planning a bullpen day for Game 4 -- could instead go back to Masahiro Tanaka on regular rest.

Listed pitchers means that both pitchers who are scheduled must start the game for the bet to have action (be valid).

It should be noted that the Nationals lead their series versus St. Louis 2-0 heading into Monday night's Game 3, so that series could be over as soon as Tuesday night.  As this was going online, the Nationals were up 8-1 versus the Cardinals at the top of the 8th inning.
