Biden Approval Rating Hits 44% With Potential to Pay Out Close to $400: Mar-a-Lago Search Affidavit Released

U.S. President Joe Biden job rating risesd to 44%, up 6 points and the highest number so far this year. 

BetOnline will offer a payout of nearly $400 for every $100 bet should this rating hold above the 43% mark by September 1.

The rise in Biden's job approval rating is mostly attributed to Independents. 

53% of Americans still disapprove of his job performance as of August 26, 2022.

Biden reached his peak in April of 2021 shortly after he took office.  At that time he came in with a 57% job approval.

Mar-a-Lago Search Affidavit Set to be Released

A federal judge ruled that the Justice Department must release a redacted version of the Mar-a-Lago search warrant affidavit by noon ET Friday.

It was widely anticipated that much of the document will be redacted, though to what extent was unknown.

Mar-a-Lago is the Palm Beach, Florida residence of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

The affidavit was filed by the DOJ when it sought a warrant to search the residence earlier this month.  The DOJ claims that documents, some of them believed to be classified, were removed by the former President from the White House during a hasty January 2021 departure.

The department's prosecutors opposed the release, citing the need for secrecy as the probe continues.

Trump is the co-favorite along with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to be the GOP nominee for President in 2024.
