Braves-Marlins Under 8-1 in Last Nine

Heading into Sunday, the Braves-Marlins series had gone UNDER the total eight out of nine times.

The early total on Sunday's game was 7.5.

Eight of the last nine had gone UNDER this total.

This one ended up OVER the total Saturday night once it got into the top of the 7th.

Julio Teheran starts for Atlanta and hasn't had a win in his last three starts.  Teheran managed to make it into the 7th inning his last start.

Julio Teheran allowed four runs -- including three home runs -- over seven innings Tuesday in a loss to the Padres.

He has struck out 44 in 38 2/3 innings of work and should be especially hungry for a win here.

This one scares us early as the books have the line dropping from -155 to -126.  Otherwise, Atlanta looked sort of enticing here.

Teheran faces off against Pablo Lopez.  While Lopez has struggled, going 3-6 this season, the games he has started in have stayed UNDER 7.5 in eight of his last ten starts.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
