Let the voters decide!

An amendment passed in November's election authorizes the state to issue licenses for casinos in Jefferson and Pope counties, provided there is local support from elected officials. Issue 4 also allows the four casinos to offer sports betting.

Great news for local area bookies as most folks aren't going to elect to visit these casinos every time they want to place a bet.  That's something they can do over the phone or online.  These new sportsbooks will simply help give more folks the gambling bug.  Bookmakers can also offer better options that include anonymity.
