The Buckeyes were seeing more action at the sharper books (Michigan -4.5) and Wolverines seeing more action at the recreational shops (Michigan -5) as of Thursday afternoon.  Overall though, betting on the spread was mostly balanced.  On average, michigan was seeing 53% of the wagering, Ohio State 47%. Any side seeing beyond 55% on a game with this type of volume will cut into profits with a loss.

BetOnline, Bovada and Sportsbook.com had this one at Michigan -5.

Bookmaker, Pinnacle and Heritage were holding at Michigan -4.5.

The line move has been -4 to -4.5 and moving to -5 at the recreation shops in an effort to get a little more action on Ohio State.  At these books, more bets were being placed on Michigan.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
