At BetDSI, Alabama opened as a 14-point road favorite at LSU. The spread initially jumped to -14.5 last Sunday, but then dropped as low as -13.5 on Monday. It has been bet back up and is currently at -14.5. Here are some betting tidbits for the series:

- LSU is the first CFP Top 4 team playing at home in history to be an underdog.

- LSU is the biggest home underdog it's been since 10/9/99 (vs. Florida, +15). The previous high came in 1997 and was also against Florida (+17).

- Since betting lines became widely available in 1985, Alabama hasn't been favored by more than 7.5 points at LSU.

- The last time LSU was favored over Alabama was in 2007. The Tigers have averaged just 10.43 PPG in their last seven games against the Crimson Tide, including being shutout twice.

- This marks the 48th straight game Alabama has been favored, which is the longest streak in the nation. In those 48 games, the Crimson Tide have been favored by double digits 38 times. Alabama has been a double-digit favorite in 18 of its last 19 regular season games.
